- Adjacent to Lake Webb, this lake is Kern County that was drained for agriculture (Ivey 2004). There is a historic Buena Vista Lake about 6 miles south of this location but Robison et. al (2008) refers to the Buena Vista Aquatic Recreation Area and the Buena Vista Lake mentioned in Ivey as the same location. Grouped them together.

Comments:
No nesting observed but a chick was heard. There may be too much boating recreation at this lake for a successful colony to be established though there is potential nesting habitat. Subsequent reports have their own entries.
