Comments:
Swan Lake in Bannock County is considered "natural lake with stable water levels" despite 1.25 foot drop over study period. No info on frequency of visits during study period. Water level drop isloates nests so that grebes couldn't reach them and possibly when vegetation the eggs are on dries out, incubation stops. Nest success of these 7 nests were 33.5%, hatching success 22.2% and the stated threats given percentages too.
