Comments:

Paige and Kelly were observers in 2009, Doney was observer in 2010. Not sure why actual bird count is 1 but estimate # of breeding birds is 2 and there is no conversion factor nor nests counted in 2010. The 3 adult birds in 2009 are non-breeding. Conducted as part of Western Colonial Waterbird Survey (WCWS), a breeding survey of 18 species from May to July 2009 to 2011, resulting in this Atlas. Survey date given here is the only date provided.

Part of the Western Colonial Waterbird Monitoring and Inventory (WCWS), this data is from Table 1. Number of nests at top annually monitored sites for selected species, 2009-2016. Western grebes are a non-targeted species. I have no narrative report nor other details. Four sites are in this table. No counts 2009 through 2014.
