Author is a rancher with propoerty near Fortine. Been observing birds from 1920 to 1973 at his property and beyond. Observed 17 broods from one-third to half-grown but did not name number of chicks. Estimated range as 1 to 3 chicks per brood for minimum and maximum chick count.

Western grebes are a non-targeted species. I have no narrative report nor other details. Four sites are in this table. No counts in 2009, 2012, 2013, and 2015.
