This page is a handy index of the 20+ collections that have selected records featured in our inquiry kits. Each collection description includes basic information about the collection, called metadata in library lingo, as well as a brief explanation as to why one of our librarians thought the collection might be of interest to K-12 teachers.

Reference Shelf

In addition to featured collections, we plan to create a digital reference shelf of some useful ebooks and other digital texts as they’re added to this site.

Idaho Histories is an original ebook created at the University of Idaho in 2023. It is a short, digital ebook that uses the Library of Congress method on inquiry described on our how to guide to encourage students to explore primary archival objects.
